Electric Fence Australia understands that there may come a time where you need to return a purchase. We want to make the returns process as simple and easy as possible for you.
We have a range of ways you can return an item.
How to return your purchase
Refunds will be repaid via direct EFT, PayPal or other method.
Where a credit card attached to an original purchase cannot be produced, the refund will be processed to an Officeworks Gift Card.

Zip Pay and Zip Money
For purchases made using Zip, you may return the purchase in-store or contact our store.
Once your order has been returned to the store or picked up by a returns driver and receipted at our Customer Fulfilment Centre, we will send notification to Zip of your return.
* Unfortunately, instore Zip Pay and Zip Money purchases cannot be returned via our Customer Service Centre.
Refund payments for purchases made using Zip Pay or Zip Money can only be paid back into your Zip Pay or Zip Money account.

Where the original purchase was made via PayPal, you may return the purchase by getting in touch with us via our email system.v Unfortunately, we are unable to accept PayPal Returns in store.
Once your order has been picked up by a returns driver and receipted at our Customer Fulfilment Centre, we will send notification to PayPal of your return.
Refunds will be processed to PayPal only and not to credit card, cash or gift card.

Alternatively, you can exchange your item, or have it repaired, or a service cancelled, in accordance with the terms below.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to:
- cancel your service contract with us; and
- a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.
If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund for any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
Change of Mind Returns
Unfortunately, we will not refund any goods due to a change of mind. Please ensure you select your products carefully to avoid any embarrassment.
Faulty Goods Returns
If you believe you have purchased a faulty product, you must provide proof of purchase to receive a refund, replacement product or repair. Proof of purchase may be your original register receipt, credit card statement or any other form of evidence.
We may have the faulty product assessed by a third-party certified repair agent to determine the nature and cause of the fault. We reserves the right to decline an exchange, refund or repair where any product fault is caused by misuse or neglect.
Please note: during the process of repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost. Please ensure that you have saved this data elsewhere prior to repair.
General Note about Returns
You must provide proof of purchase to make a claim and Electric Fence Australia reserves the right to decline an exchange, refund or repair where a fault is caused by misuse or neglect. Please return all items to our Banyo warehouse at 11/25 Depot St, Banyo, QLD, 4014.
Many manufacturers have dedicated support centres designed specifically to deal with issues in relation to their products and may be able to provide a quicker assessment of, and remedy for, any issue with your purchased product. You may, therefore, prefer to contact the manufacturer directly although you are not obliged to do this. If at any time you are not satisfied with the manufacturers remedy in relation to your legal rights, you can contact the store. Electric Fence Australia may also return the product to the manufacturer to determine the nature of the problem.
Please be mindful that Electric Fence Australia is an e-commerce business and regularly orders products from manufacturers on backorder to fulfill your order. We will honour refunds in the event we cannot source the products you have ordered, however refunds will not be honoured in the following events:
- Change of mind
- Product differs from expectations/requirements
- Ordered wrong product (please choose your products carefully, if in doubt contact us)
- Ordered products not in stock
- Delivery times are outside requirements (prior arrangements are necessary for urgent orders)
Contact Electric Fence Australia in the event there may be a special delivery requirement. Standard delivery times are between four and eight weeks, and largely depends on manufacturer availability, as not all advertised products are held in stock. Customer due diligence to ensure product suitability and delivery time is a requirement when dealing with Electric Fence Australia.
